Microsoft to host “Xbox Showcase” to mark launch of new flagship
Microsoft is due to host an Xbox Showcase to celebrate the opening of its new flagship store in Oxford Circus, where attendees can test the brand’s latest tech.
On July 1 Microsoft is due to open its first ever UK flagship store spanning 21,932sq ft in the heart of London giving customers the “chance to explore and get hands-on with technology.”
To mark the opening it will host what it is calling an Xbox Showcase, where attendees will have the opportunity to try out Microsoft’s upcoming streaming gaming service Project xCloud.
They will also be able to try out the upcoming Xbox exclusive title Gears 5 Escape, marking the first time it will be available to play in the UK, as well as the upcoming relaunch of Battletoads.
Attendees can also get hands on with some of Microsoft’s most popular titles including Sea of Thieves: The Arena, Forza Horizon 4 LEGO® Speed Champions and Minecraft.
For those unable to attend, Microsoft will be hosting a live streaming event over its launch day starting at 5pm BST.
