Amazon has launched Business Prime in the UK ahead of its eagerly anticipated Prime Day event later this month, granting Amazon Business users access to a range of benefits.
The retailer has today launched Amazon Business Prime, which will allow customers shopping on behalf of their workplace to sign up and receive the same benefits as personal Prime subscribers, including one and same-day delivery.
It will also include access to a new Spend Visibility service, which will make it simple for Business customers to track spending, identify money saving options and rein in expenditure.
Furthermore, a Guided Buying feature will be included, allowing users to select preferred suppliers and products.
Of course the timing of its launch was no coincidence, and Business Prime customer will also have access to the myriad of discounts and events due to be rolled out over the coming weeks for Prime Day, which will run for 48 hours starting at on July 15.
Amazon launched its Business offering in the UK in April 2017, and the service is now reportedly used by more than half of the FTSE 1000 companies and 80 per cent of the largest universities
