Zara’s “Edited” customisation feature, which allows users to personalise their clothes with custom stitched names and phrases, is being rolled out this week.
Its online Edited feature enables customers to personalise any items in a newly released 28-piece collection with embroidery of up to 11 letters, for free.
Using the Edit window on Zara’s ecommerce site, customers can type their chosen phrase and see a visual representation of their item in real time.

Edited will offer two separate fonts which can be placed in a number of positions on different garments, which include denim jackets, crewneck sweaters and mom jeans, and six different font colours.
It will be rolled out in the US, China, UK, Italy, the Netherlands and its home country of Spain this week, following a successful trial in three pop-ups in Amsterdam, Bercelona and Milan.
The range is made entirely from recycled cotton and denim, forming part of Zara’s sustainability drive.
