You can now order Walmart groceries using Siri

Walmart customers can now order groceries via Siri as the retailer announces a new partnership with Apple.

Walmart Voice Order is set to be rolled out across any Apple device with Siri functionality, including iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, Home Pods and even in cars with the retailers CarPlay app.

“Siri Shortcut for Online Grocery” can be accessed through Walmart’s grocery app, and customers can simply say “add to Walmart” and then the name of their desired product to place an order.

Personal shoppers will then pick and pack the customers items ready to be collected or delivered to their door.

“We’re proud to announce that partnering with Apple, we’ve made Walmart Voice Order available on Siri,” the grocer said in a blog post yesterday.

“We know when using voice technology, customers add items to their cart one at a time over a few days rather than shopping for the entire week all at once.

“Apple and Walmart make that simple by allowing users to participate wherever they are in their grocery shopping journey, on whichever Apple device they’re using.”
