Adidas new flagship store on London’s Oxford Street has unveiled three new augmented reality (AR) experiences which shoppers can play via Instagram.
Using Instagram Camera on their smartphones, shoppers can now scan three posters to reveal unique virtual experiences and learn more about Adidas’ product innovations.
Adidas’ official match ball of Euro 2020 is celebrated with the Uniforia AR game, a free kick challenge which allows users to share their scores via Instagram Stories.
Next its Futurecraft Loop AR installation showcases Adidas’ 100 per cent recyclable performance running shoe, virtually displaying the journey from discarded plastic to performance trainer in a “loop creation process”.
Finally, is an AR “fluid art piece” which shifts with the users perspective, aiming to explore Adidas’ advanced midsole technology which is “born from liquid”.
The three installations were revealed at the star-studded Future of Sport event this week at Adidas high-tech new flagship store.
Each installation was produced in collaboration with Facebook and its Spark AR platform.
