Net-A-Porter has partnered with Netflix for a new show in which fashion designers will compete against each other for a $250,000 (£191,000) prize.
Next in Fashion will see 18 competitors endure a series of challenges for the chance to win the prize money and debut their collection on the fashion retail giants website.
Net-A-Porter’s global buying director Elizabeth von der Goltz will also act as guest judge, and will decide the winner in the final episode in front of a live audience.
All 10 episodes will debut on Netflix on January 29, 2020.
“We are delighted to work with Netflix on ‘Next In Fashion,’ awarding $250,000 and the opportunity to be stocked at Net-A-Porter to an incredibly deserving talent; ‘Next in Fashion’ further showcases our long-term support of global fashion talent,” von der Goltz said.
The series will be hosted by Queer Eye For the Straight Guy’s Tan France and British fashion designer Alexa Chung, and will feature guest judges including Beth Ditto, Tommy Hillfier, Phillip Lim and Elizabeth Stuart, among many others.
