Tesco’s online grocery app and website have left many customers unable to complete orders or receive deliveries after experiencing technical issues for over a day.
Shoppers took to social media to express their anger and seek answers after being presented with error messages on Tesco’s online platforms.
Complaints began surfacing on Twitter as early as Sunday evening and continued into the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Although Tesco said the problem has now been fixed, many shoppers were still facing problems accessing their accounts on Wednesday afternoon.

“We have fixed a technology issue which was affecting our website and app last night and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused,” a spokesperson said.
“Customers will now be able to log in and place orders.”

@Tesco Trying to place my order for tomorrow and it keeps coming up with an error message. I've reinstalled the app but still getting it. My partner has tried too and is getting the same message.

Customers were faced with a message stating: “We’re sorry but something went wrong”, and later messages stating the site was down for maintenance.
Some complained of being unable to complete an order after completing a shop, meaning they missed the deadline for home delivery today.
