Pret A Manger is now selling its most popular coffee on Amazon

News

Pret A Manger is launching its first ever retail range exclusively on Amazon allowing customers to buy packs of their favourite coffee beans from the high street giant.

Three of the chain’s most popular coffee blends will now be available to buy online via Amazon from May 18, as it tries to establish an alternative revenue stream during lockdown.

Pret’s organic expresso beans, which are reportedly used in over 80 million cups of coffee every year in the UK, will now be available to buy in both whole bean and ground from.

The brand’s single-origin Peruvian ground coffee will also be available to purchase, and more products are set to be added to the list in the coming weeks.

It comes as the brand starts to gradually reopen parts of its vast store estate, fulfilling takeaway and third-party delivery orders from 70 more stores this week, bringing the total to 100.

“We are extremely proud of our organic coffee, which is carefully sourced from some of the finest coffee growing regions in the world,” Pret’s UK managing director Clare Clough said.

“We also know how much customers are missing it from their daily lives at the moment, so we’re delighted to be launching our first retail range with Amazon.

“This marks the first time that our customers can make their favourite Pret coffee at home.”
