Poundland has become the latest retailer to launch its own range of reusable facemasks just days before they become mandatory in shops across the UK.
Poundland’s fashion brand Pep&Co is releasing a range of face masks which it will sell in packs of three for £5.
The reusable, washable face masks are made from cotton and will include fabrics patterned with unicorns and hears so customers can “continue to shop in style”.
It comes ahead of new rules making it mandatory for shoppers to wear facemasks when entering stores in the UK from July 24.

Those who don’t stand to face fines of up to £100.
Branded face masks are fast becoming a focus for fashion retailers as the county faces the prospect of having to wear them when in public for months to come.
While brands like Uniqlo and Under Armour became the first to release designer, breathable face masks designed for athletes, other brands like Mulberry have focused on releasing masks which serve as fashion accessories.
As supply chains have adapted to the sharp spike in demand for PPE, face masks are becoming a staple product for retailers of all types.
