Adidas has partnered with Deliveroo for a unique product drop, offering Londoners the chance to win a free pair of trainers… which they can eat.
Deliveroo customers in Whitechapel can visit the app from midday on Wednesday August 26 to be in with a chance of winning a free pair of edible trainers, with winners selected on a first come, first serve basis.
The secret’s out! We’ve partnered with @adidasUK for a collab like no other. Adidas’ limited-edition edible trainers are a life-like recreation of its newly launched ZX 2K Boost trainers, a pair of which will also be delivered to the winning customers.
The campaign is hoping to cash in on last month’s social media trend “everything is cake”, in which videos of people cutting photo-realistic cakes in the shape of everything from human arms to Crocs went viral.

This will mark the first time Deliveroo has delivered apparel for any brand, even if it is alongside a chocolate ganache-coated chocolate sponge cake.
To view the offer customers will need to live within a 1.5 mile radius of Deliveroo Whitechapel Editions kitchen.
Adidas new ZX 2K Boost trainers are now available to buy for £110 on the sportswear giant’s website.
