Apple Inc on Tuesday flagged Tuesday September 15 for a special event, raising hopes of new product announcements from the tech giant.
The Cupertino, California-headquartered company typically uses its September events to showcase its most important products.
However, Apple warned back in July that it may experience a delay in completing the new versions of its iPhone handsets.
Apple said that the event will be streamed on the company’s website from its campus in Cupertino, and did not provide further details.
According to Reuters, Apple’s invitation for the media stated: “Time flies”.
Apple marketing senior vice president Greg Joswiak tweeted a teaser video for the date.

Late last month Apple was finally able to start reopening its retail stores across the US after being forced to close them for a second time due to a spike in coronavirus cases.
Apple reported record sales over its last quarter, despite being forced to close all 270 US stores in March when cases first began to rise.
