Ted Baker has partnered with Hero to launch virtual shopping across its store estate, allowing customers to message and video call store staff.
Online shoppers will now be able to connect with Ted Baker staff in real time allowing them to share personalised product recommendations and answer any questions the customer may have.
Staff will be alerted on their personal devices whenever a customer is looking to connect and will have instant access to Ted Baker’s entire inventory both online and in-store.
Customers can then purchase and arrange shipping from the retailer’s entire stock collection, and even arrange a one-on-one appointment with staff in-store.
“As our e-commerce channel continues to grow during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond, elevating the online customer experience is a key business priority,” Ted Baker’s chief customer officer Jennifer Roebuck said.
“By partnering with Hero, we are enabling critical tools to stay connected with our customers and bring the physical shopping experience to them in the comfort of their home”.
