Currys PC World has launched its first ever TikTok campaign challenging users to create and share their top tech tips.
The UK’s largest tech retailer has now launched #TechTokTips, its first ever branded hastag, encouraging users to submit their best usage tips for everyday home appliances for the chance to win a £5000 tech bundle.

The campaign reportedly marks the start of a new brand strategy for 2021, with Currys PC World shifting the spotlight to their tech expertise.
Currys PC World has identified and partnered with over 20 TikTok creators to help kickstart the challenge and encourage other users to get involved.
“We’re no strangers to innovation and are incredibly excited to be working alongside TikTok to bring this hashtag challenge to life,” Currys PC World’s head of brand comms and planning Corin Mills said.
“Our goal is to get the nation talking about amazing tech and we believe this #TechTokTips hashtag challenge – which is one of the first for the tech retail space – will help inspire people to join the conversation and remind them that we are the go-to experts on all things tech.”
“The #TechTokTip branded hashtag challenge will run from April 8 until April 30 2021 and is open to all UK residents over 18. Entrants will be judged by an independent adjudicator”.
