Clearpay to launch shopping event to encourage people to “get back to shopping”

Clearpay has announced it is launching a shopping event on the Kings Road to encourage shoppers to “get back to shopping again.”

The “Clearpay Quarter” is launching in collaboration with the buy now pay later company and the British Fashion Council to celebrate London Fashion Week (LFW) and aims go give shoppers access to big fashion brands directly from the high street to make “the King’s Road their runway”.

The initiative is being launched with the idea of helping to reignite British retail after the pandemic slump by bringing shoppers back to the iconic “shopping Mecca”.

The event will last three days and will feature streamed runway shows, fashion themed films as well as exclusive food and drink menus from neighbouring restaurants and fashion boutiques such as Bluebird, Copit and Rixo.

Over the weekend, shoppers will have the chance to watch the live streamed shows via a giant screen at Duke of York Square while shopping on the Clearpay app from the comfort of a deck chair.

Visitors to the site will also have the opportunity to win exclusive fashion prizes and giveaways through Instagram.

To continue the LFW celebrations, two fashion illustrators will be located along the King’s Road capturing the atmosphere and stylish looks of shoppers, leaving visitors with their own complimentary LFW memento to take away.

Clearpay signed up as the main partner of LFW in February, signing a two year deal.

The company said that it would bring “inclusive shoppable moments and dynamic interactive concepts, bringing the best of the British fashion industry to a wider group of consumers” according to Fashion United.
