Sony’s direct-to-host PS5 restock is scheduled for tomorrow through its Playstation Direct website.
Sony is promising to restock its much sought after console on its own platform after supply issues have left thousands of shoppers unable to secure one since its release.
However, the release will only be available to consumers who have previously received an invite from Sony itself and shoppers are advised to access the virtual queue early to avoid disappointment.
The window of time to secure a console has reportedly shortened which means customers will be waiting less time in the queue.
Target is also rumoured to be securing a batch of PS5’s which could see a drop from the US retailer soon.

Numbers of the console have not been able to keep up with the unwavering demand since the PS5’s release in November last year.
The pandemic’s impact on supply chains has meant that chip shortages have resulted in disappointing numbers of consoles as well as disappointed shoppers.
Despite this, the PS5 is outselling its rival Microsoft’s Xbox Series X at a rate of more than two to one and is on track to become the best selling console of all time after its predecessor the PS4.
Data from Ampere Analysis revealed that Sony has sold over 2.8 million units during the first quarter of this year, more than doubling Microsoft’s Xbox Series X/S sales of 1.31 million units.
