‘Buy now, pay later’ specialist Clearpay has announced it has reached two million active users in the UK.
The news follows the businesses first major global brand campaign ‘Pay Better’.
The new multi-million-pound, cross channel campaign highlights ways consumers can reclaim control of their financial lives through responsible spending.
The ‘Pay Better’ campaign also features high-impact billboards, bus wraps, taxi wraps and more rolled out across the UK.
The campaign can be seen in over 17 markets worldwide, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham and more in the UK.
“It is an exciting time at Clearpay, hitting our two million customer milestone alongside our Pay Better campaign launch,” Clearpay head of UK Rich Bayer said.
“All of this comes just as we are reaching our two year anniversary in the UK. We are excited by the growth and opportunity in this market and look forward to continuing to offer a way to pay that empowers customers to budget and pursue financial wellness.”
The news comes as ‘Buy now, pay later’ spending is predicted to hit nearly a trillion dollars by 2026, according to new data from Juniper Research.
According to the figures, spending with BNPL services like Klarna and Laybuy will account for over 24 per cent of all global ecommerce transactions for physical goods by 2026, worth a whopping $995 billion.
