Amazon is set to add its very own “By Amazon” and “Our Selection” ranges to its online grocery store, Amazon Fresh, in the UK in the coming weeks.

In May, Amazon launched private label food brand Aplenty which includes hundreds of new branded products ranging from sweets and salty snacks to pantry staples like frozen foods, condiments, sauces, seasonings, and baking mixes.

Amazon already sells milk, vegetables and spices under its Happy Belly brand, baked goods under Amazon Fresh, and ready meals under its UK Fresh stores.

According to The Telegraph, Amazon is also planning to launch a major marketing campaign to promote the new labels, while trying to drive adoption of its online Fresh service.

It comes as Amazon continues to brute-force its way into the UK grocery sector, launching five physical grocery stores in as many months across the capitol’s busiest shopping districts.

The retailer is expected to launch at least 20 physical stores across the UK after already agreeing deals with landlords.
