Shell convenience store across the UK will now offer 24-hour home delivery to customer via the Uber Eats app.
More than 340 Shell stores across the UK will join the Uber Eats app, offering a range of over 750 items for delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
Customer will have access to a broad range of everyday essentials from fresh fruit and vegetables to ready-to-eat food and including products from Little Waitrose, Jamie Oliver Deli and Budgens ranges.
The initial roll out will see 183 stores across London, Manchester and Glasgow join the app, with a further 158 joining across the country in the coming months and 250 of these offering 24-hour delivery.
Shell is the latest major retailer to turn to third party delivery companies to launch a home delivery operation in the wake of the pandemic.

Uber Eats has reportedly seen grocery sales skyrocket 400 per cent since lockdown restrictions were lifted, and now works with retailers including Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Hasbro and Estée Lauder.
“As demand for grocery and essential items continues to soar on the Uber Eats app, we’re delighted to bring Shell to the app as an exclusive partner,” Uber Eats UKgeneral manager Sunjiv Shah said.
Shell’s general manager of retail in the UK Bernie Williamson added: “We’re thrilled to be launching our stores on the Uber Eats app. With Uber Eats, we’re able to reach even more customers and expand our delivery services across the UK.
“We offer our customers convenience on-the-go and with this new collaboration we can now also offer a wide selection of food and essentials, available for delivery to your door in less than 30 minutes.”
