Amazon begins its Black Friday early in order to lure early holiday shoppers

Amazon has already started its Black Friday sales deals to try and capture a wave of early holiday shoppers.

The company said it is offering “deep discounts across every category,” which include electronics, home goods, toys and fashion.

The ecommerce giant also added that it will be adding deals to the site daily.

Amazon and its rivals, including Target, are launching their deals early in order to make sure consumers receive their orders on time amid global supply issues.
Experts predict a sharp rise in year-on-year spending this holiday season despite the range of challenges retailers have faced including labour woes and supply chain issues.

The news comes just after Amazon announced it was making it easier for buyers to send recipients gifts through Prime.

All a user needs to send a gift to someone else is their email address or phone number and Amazon takes care of the rest.

Recipients will get an email saying they have been purchased a gift, leaving them to enter their shipping address.

If the gift they receive is not quite what they wish, they are able to exchange it for a gift card of the same value.

The Black Friday deals come at the same time as Amazon’s beauty product event, “Holiday Beauty Haul”, which it has implemented to draw in shoppers ahead of Black Friday.
