Harrods to launch first ever limited edition sneaker boutique with The Edit LDN

Harrods is launching its first ever boutique store for limited edition trainers amid a new tie up with The Edit LDN.

The luxury department store is set to launch a 2000sq ft space dedicated to showcasing the most in-demand and hard to access sneakers on the planet.

The new boutique will house the hottest sneakers and streetwear from brands including Yeezy, Jordan, Off-White and Supreme.

The Edit LDN, an online marketplace which connects premium resellers and sneakerheads, is already worth some $6 billion a year and is expected to see sales skyrocket fivefold in the next decade.

“Being the first sneaker reseller in Harrods is a proud and milestone moment for the company and its great to see such a global mega brand engaging with the sneaker market, moreover, that we’re the catalyst to make that happen,” The Edit LDN’s founder and chief executive Moses Rashid said.

Harrods head of menswear Simon Longland added: “Our goal has been to transform the menswear experience at Harrods and embrace the most important and desirable trends on the market, and the launch of The Edit LDN continues that strategy.
