The Body Shop has partnered with on-demand delivery platform Instacart to offer same-day delivery for online purchases from all 165 stores across the US and Canada.
Customers can place orders on the Instacart site and mobile app and have the products delivered in as fast as one hour.
The service includes the Body Shop’s full product range.
All orders are fulfilled by an Instacart shopper who picks, packs and delivers the order within the individual customer’s designated timeframe.
Contactless delivery is also available through a “Leave at My Door” option.
Each order can be tracked via the Instacart app or website.
The news comes after beauty retailer Sephora also launched its same-day delivery collaboration with Instacart in September 2020.
“We’re thrilled to launch this partnership just before the busy holiday shopping season to service our customers in the way they want to shop with us,” The Body Shop marketing AVP Aliza Perruzzi said.
“Consumer buying behaviour has shifted significantly in the past year, particularly in the US, and working with Instacart allows us to meet our customers’ needs by offering them the option to buy their favourite skincare and beauty products on demand.”
Instacart new retail partnerships head Blake Wallace added: “We’re excited to announce our partnership with The Body Shop to offer customers access to same-day delivery in as fast as an hour just in time for the holiday gifting season,”
“The addition of The Body Shop to the Instacart Marketplace provides customers a one-stop-shop for all things skincare, haircare, bath, body, and more.
“We look forward to offering consumers a new way to get their favourite items from the retailer they love with great selection and choice.”
