Pets at Home has partnered with Relex Solutions, in a bid to optimise its supply chain across forecasting, on-shelf availability, inventory planning and the automation of manual tasks.
Relex will service the pet supplies retailer’s 453 stores and distribution centres across the UK, as well as its online channels.
Pets at Home hopes to benefit from Relex’s AI driven insights, particularly into daily and monthly inventory requirements and fulfilment efficiency to better meet customer need and demand.
The partnership comes as part of a demand and fulfilment transformation project across the retailer’s end-to-end supply chain, helping to deliver its ambition of becoming “the world’s best pet care provider.”
