Studio.co.uk’s shoppers can now purchase goods from the retailer’s new in-app live shopping channel, which is being trialled ahead of the festive period.
The app Studio Live features presenters who showcase products, answer questions, and interact with consumers in real time.
As a result, questions are fed to the stream monitor, to post to the stream or directly to the presenter.
The theme of the first stream will be this year’s top Christmas toys.
The news comes as Studio looks to enhance the digital experience for its online shoppers, with its app currently accounting for 30 per cent of online sales, with over 1.2 million users.
“We’re pleased that we’ve been able to launch Studio Live ahead of the biggest moment in the retail calendar, Black Friday,” Studio customer and digital director Chris Chalmers said.
“This innovative project has been in the works for a while and as a brand, we feel immensely proud to finally launch it.
“We are confident that our loyal customers, who already support our app enormously, will love our new feature that has never been seen via an app functionality in the retail space before.
