Harvey Nichols has entered the crypto space by offering customers the chance to win a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) through a partnership with RTFKT Studios.
The NFTs are avatar created in partnership with RTFKT Studios’ Clone X Project and also include designs by renowned Japanese contemporary artist, Takashi Murakami.
The collection contains 20,000 avatars, with one up for grabs by a Harvey Nichols shopper.
Harvey Nichols has become the first retailer to move into the space, following luxury brands including Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana and Louis Vuitton.
The competition is accessible via the Harvey Nichols website and Instagram and while it has been launched from Hong Kong, it is open to all customers internationally.

In order to enter the giveaway, entrants simple need to visit the Harvey Nichols site to input their details details, and state what utility they would most like to see from Clone X NFTs going forward.
The most creative answer will be chosen as the winner.
Entrants can also enter via Instagram through following both the @harveynicholshk and @rtfktstudios accounts, liking the relevant post and take a picture or video involving Clones shown on the screens at its Pacific Place store.
The competition is open from November 27th to December 4th.
