Klarna announces partnership with Harrods ahead of festive season

Klarna has announced a new partnership with Harrods, offering customers buy now, pay later (BNPL) options across Harrods Knightsbridge, H beauty and Harrods.com

Harrods UK in-store shoppers can now use Klarna’s pay in three BNPL service for cosmetic purchases in Harrods beauty hall, as well as across its beauty stores in Essex and Milton Keynes.

Customers shopping on Harrods.com can also use Klarna’s pay-in-three model whilst US customers can use pay in four when purchasing goods online.

Harrods shoppers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can also use Klarna when shopping online.

“Harrods is one of the most recognisable brands across the globe with a footprint and heritage that is unrivalled within the luxury retail space,” Klarna chief commercial officer Luke Griffiths said.

“We are excited to bring our payment products to Harrods customers across Europe and the US, offering them the option to buy goods how and when they want.”

Harrods partnership director Alex Unitt added: “Harrods is known for providing a first class shopping experience, and this latest partnership with Klarna enables us to give our Harrods customers maximum flexibility and convenient payment options.
