Specsavers has collaborated with virtual production studio 3Dctrl, unveiling a new CGI tool to showcase its products online.
The technology from 3Dctrl will enable Specsavers creative arm The Agency to produce high quality 3D glasses animations in minutes, from anywhere, reducing the cost and time associated with photography by up to 80%.
As a result of the collaboration, the eyewear retailer now has full creative control over its entire product library in 3D, and can power all product focused content across ecommerce, social and digital advertising.
Designers are now able to prototype, configure, create and render professional quality 3D quickly and efficiently, without the need for any prior 3D animation skills or experience, and all within the cloud.
