Amazon has strengthened its real estate team with the addition of Hammerson’s head of leasing Stephen Daniels as it continues to roll out checkout-free Amazon Fresh shops across the country.
Joining the online giant as its senior real estate manager for physical stores, Daniels will be a crucial part of Amazon’s plans as seeks to continue expanding its Amazon Fresh estate.
“Thrilled to have joined Amazon this week at such an exciting time in their journey into physical retail spaces in the UK,” said Daniels, who had served for Hammerson for nearly seven years.
