Crystal Palace FC strikes partnership with AstroPay

Crystal Palace Football Club have struck a deal with AstroPay for the online payment firm to be come the official training wear sponsor.

AstroPay will have its branding and logo on the Croydon-based club’s training kit as well as LED advertising at Crystal Palace’s stadium Selhurst Park on match days.

The club will also feature AstroPay branding on the popular PalaceTV content series, “Copers Cope TV”, which offers fans exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage of the club’s training sessions.

The partnership is part of AstroPay’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its brand and profile in the UK, following its expansion to European markets last year.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Crystal Palace FC, a Premier League football team that has over 160 years of professional experience,” AstroPay chief executive Mikael Lijtenstein said.

Crystal Palace FC commercial director Barry Webber added:  “We are thrilled to be able to announce a partnership with a brand as globally recognised as Astropay.

“Astropay has a long history of success in the payment solutions sector, and we look forward to working with them during the remainder of the season”.

AstroPay is also partnered with Premier League side Burnley FC.
