Alibaba appoints POD Studios as digital partner in European expansion

Alibaba has appointed POD Studios, a digital marketing agency specialising in building integrated full-funnel strategies, as its new digital partner.

By working with POD Studios, Alibaba is looking to expand its customer base across European markets by leveraging “cost-efficient and innovative” strategies across key digital channels.

The ecommerce marketplace will utilise the agency’s digital marketing expertise in the B2B sector and international B2C brands.

POD Studios will be driving an integrated channel approach whilst executing the campaigns across key digital platforms.

The agency is providing Alibaba with a streamlined paid digital strategy, to identify the most cost-effective ways to “engage, build momentum and convert its target audience”.

Commenting on the company’s appointment of POD Studios, Alibaba EU head of marketing and communications said: “We are delighted to have appointed POD Studios as our paid digital marketing agency of record to expand our digital presence in the EU.
