Deliveroo unveils former M&S and Tesco executive as company CFO

Deliveroo has announced that former M&S and Tesco executive Scilla Grimble will take over as the company’s chief financial officer.

Grimble, who is currently holding the same role at MoneySupermarket.com, is expected to take up her new role at the food delivery company no later than June 2023.

She will succeed Adam Miller, who will be stepping down from the business on 17 September 2022.

Before Grimble joined MoneySupermarket.com in 2019, she worked as interim CFO at M&S where she led the group finance group.

She has also previously held a range of senior finance and leadership roles at Tesco.

“I am delighted to welcome Scilla to Deliveroo and the board is confident that her highly relevant skills and experience will help us to take advantage of the significant opportunities before us and will be invaluable as we continue to build our business,” Deliveroo chair Claudia Arney said.

“The board thanks Adam for all he has done for Deliveroo during his time here, from helping guide the business as VP of strategy to taking on the interim CFO role at a critical time, and then as CFO helping us through Covid and navigating the IPO.

“Adam has shown immense commitment and dedication to making Deliveroo successful.”

Deliveroo’s VP of investor relations David Hancock will serve chief financial officer on an interim basis whilst continuing in his current role, before Grimble takes the reigns.
