New Look inks deal with commercetools to refresh ecommerce experience

New Look has partnered with commercetools to refresh its ecommerce experience.

The first phase of the tie up will see New Look leveraging commercetools technology to focus on improving the transactional element.

This will include updating the checkout journey and improving cart functionality and pricing.

Prior to the deal, any changes to the online shopping experience and adapting to changing consumer preferences was a challenge.

Adding new features to New Look’s commerce channels took weeks, if not, months.

Commercetools microservices mean New Look now has the flexibility to make any changes necessary, quickly.

That means it can reduce technical debt as well as drive average and lifetime order value to grow sales.

The existing system will be phased out over the coming 12 months, as commercetools’ platform providing the technology for all transactions.
