Tommy Hilfiger unveils resale programme with ThredUP

Tommy Hilfiger has partnered with online resale platform thredUP, allowing its US customers to sell their pre-loved clothing and shop for second hand items.

Through the collaboration, customers will be able to fill any shippable box or bag with their pre-loved Tommy Hilfiger items and ship it to thredUP for free.

Items eligible to send include womenswear, menswear and kidswear from the fashion brand.

If any of the items are selected for resale and sell, shoppers will receive a Tommy Hilfiger shopping credit that can be used both online and in-store.

“This partnership is our latest step on our journey to becoming a fully circular brand,” Tommy Hilfiger executive vice president of sustainable business and innovation Global and PVH Europe Esther Verburg said.

“We’re excited to launch this programme with thredUP, which helps us create more value out of our existing product and connect with our consumers in a new way.

“The US market is packed with circular potential, and together with Thredup, we’re hoping to make a long-lasting difference.”
