Shein to open pop-up store in London

Shein is continuing to expand its brick and mortar experience with the opening of its latest pop-up store in London.

The store, located in London’s West End, will be open from September 16 to 18.

The space will showcase a curated collection of the fast fashion retailer’s seasonal lines, including wardrobe staples and partywear.

In a release, the brand said: “Shein pride themselves in making the latest fashion and beauty trends accessible to everyone, and with this curated edit of the latest trends hope to empower shoppers to make the street their catwalk this September.”

Over the past year, Shein has launched several pop-ups, including one in partnership with Klarna, also in London.

In recent years, the fashion etailer has come under scrutiny for poor employee working conditions, lack of supply chain transparency, accusations of plagiarism and more.

However, the brand’s pop-ups are attempting to meet the needs of its young consumer base, who value its low prices and trend pieces.

The pop up comes just in time for London Fashion Week, which takes place from September 15 to 20.
