Pinterest to open first-of-its-kind beauty school in London

Pinterest is set to launch a unique, in-person beauty school in London for the very first time.

Taking place on October 1, in partnership with household beauty names including La Roche Posay, the first-of-its-kind school will feature brand activations and creator workshops directly informed by Pinterest’s unique insight-led trends.

Beauty is one of the most searched categories on Pinterest and has become a “source of insights which reveal the preferences and desires of beauty lovers all over the world.”

Through teaming up with La Roche Posay and others, the Beauty School will demonstrate how brands and advertisers can activate a strategy informed by customer-led data, to better engage with their audiences.

The school will be open to the public on October 1 at The Vinyl Factory in Soho, London. With workshops and panels spanning across hair, beauty and skincare, these will be based on the beauty trends which are set to dominate this Winter 2022 season.

For those unable to attend on the day, beauty enthusiasts can head to Pinterest to explore the upcoming trends and view creator how-to hacks to get inspired from home.

“Millions of beauty lovers in the UK come to Pinterest each month to get inspired, discover new trends and shop, and because we know what people are searching for, we can predict what the next big beauty trends will be,” Pinterest UK head of creator marketing Belinda Boakye said.

“It’s a total cheat-sheet for beauty brands and creators who can literally inspire people with the very things they’re already looking for.

“We’re so excited to launch our first Beauty School in the UK, working with brands and creators to bring the online magic of what you can find on Pinterest, to a real physical space for the first time.”
