Pinterest debuts curated gift guides in partnership with John Lewis, M&S and Very

Pinterest has launched its first-ever holiday gift guide, allowing brands to directly inspire shoppers through curated boards of shoppable items.

In partnership with a raft of retailer including Very, Sweaty Betty, John Lewis, M&S and The Cotswold Company, Pinterest has created a feature to highlight products that will help customers “discover, browse and shop” their ideal gifts for these groups in a new way, this festive season.

“People love to shop on Pinterest, whether for themselves or to find that really special gift for a friend or loved one,” Pinterest retail director Tim Woollias said.

“As people come to the platform to shop but are undecided on exactly what for, they want to hear from brands, and get inspiration from ads. So, for advertisers, this means they can show up with the very items and ideas we know people are looking for.

“Our new holiday gift guide offers a curated spotlight of items from multiple brands, making the shopping experience even easier for Pinners searching for gift inspiration this season.”

Very digital marketing lead Jamie Connolly added: “Pinterest insights are a bit like having access to a crystal ball, as we can see what our audience is looking for and therefore likely planning to purchase in the near future,”

“We’re excited to feature in Pinterest’s first Holiday Gift Guide that lets us reach shoppers at an early stage ahead of the holiday period, with gift ideas for loved ones, co-workers, neighbours and more, that we know they’ll love.”
