Boohoo partners with DHL Supply Chain to bolster US growth

Boohoo Group has announced its tie-up with DHL Supply Chain in a bid to drive growth in the US.

The parent company of Boohoo and PrettyLittleThing revealed the parcel delivery company will manage its first-ever US distribution centre.

As a result, Boohoo will open its new distribution centre in Pennsylvania early next year.

The facility will also offer next-day delivery in the New York City metro region.

The company has been shipping to the US from the UK for over 15 years, with the new US Boohoo facility expecting to employ around 1,000 staff members in its first year, with almost 2,500 eventually working on the site.

“We have a loyal and growing customer base in the US and want to provide them with a faster and smoother service than we can currently offer from the UK,” Boohoo supply chain director, David James said.

“Investing in our distribution network in the US illustrates the confidence we have to grow our business in this important market.”
