AO appoints Pret’s Sarah Venning as non-executive director

Online electrical retailer AO has appointed Sarah Venning as a non-executive director with immediate effect. 

Venning joins the company from Pret A Manger, where she is currently working as global chief digital officer, leading the coffee chain’s digital and technological transformation.

She has over 20 years experience in digital and IT across the retail, hospitality and transport sectors, having worked previously at John Lewis Partnership and BAA.

“Sarah’s skill set and experience in digital transformation and information technology, combined with her passion for excellent customer service will be of great benefit to the Board and AO as we focus on our UK strategy.”
